Although we are becoming increasingly aware of the harmful effects of airplanes on the environment, Roularta Research's tourism survey shows that our readers do not immediately ignore this mode of transport. More than 2 out of 3 readers go on holiday by plane, the second-most popular means of transport when it comes to travel (after the car).

Some other results from this survey:

• More than 40% of the readers of Plus Magazine like to take a bike ride during their trips.
• The readers of Feeling and GAEL regularly take a day trip and 61% find inspiration for these trips in magazines.
• In general, our magazine readers like to go on holiday a lot. More than 1 out of 3 readers go on holiday at least twice a year, and more than 1 out of 2 go on weekends at least as often.
