In February, we launched the third edition of the Luxe survey among our readers. The previous editions date from 2015 and 2018. For this edition, we added some new female titles to the scope, namely Libelle/Femmes d'Aujourd'hui, Flair D/F and Feeling/GAEL.
This year again, many readers made the effort to complete the questionnaire (which took an average of 35 minutes): 3502.
The most remarkable result is that the perception and expectations of luxury remain unchanged even in these special times. Luxury for our readers is still synonymous with quality, finish and attention to detail. Although a proportion of readers may buy luxury versions/products on a whim, the majority continue to carefully weigh a luxury purchase. And even though our readers are increasingly turning to the internet to buy luxury products, the majority still remain convinced that the 'real life' boutique experience is ideal for purchasing premium products and experiences.
