THE MAJOR BELGIAN ADVERTISING GROUPS, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH ADSDAQ, PRESENT A BUYING PLATFORM FOR PREMIUM DIGITAL MEDIA
Roularta Media, Persgroep Advertising, IPM Advertising, Mediahuis Connect, Pebble Media, Proximus Skynet Advertising, Rossel Advertising and Trustmedia are currently the first European advertising groups to have adopted an automated buying platform for digital media: buymedia.be. This platform was created at the explicit request of UMA, and makes it easier for the groups to sell their premium and guaranteed products.

The online inventory (display, mobile and video) of the main Belgian players is now available on one single digital platform. The result: a more efficient sales process, along with greater transparency.

  • Manual order forms are now a thing of the past:  the new system generates them automatically and they can be downloaded as necessary.
  • A direct link to the ad server makes it possible to check availability in real time, to make a reservation and to place an order.
  • A ‘chat’ system enables any questions related to a campaign to be dealt with quickly and efficiently.
  • Each transaction takes annual contracts and other business agreements into account.
  • buymedia.be gives you access to 3 million surfers per day.

An intuitive dashboard enables you to take a look at offers currently in the system, as well as at the options and editor feedback. It is also possible to connect with the internal systems of the media buyers.

What's the difference compared to Real Time Bidding ?
Just like the classic sales process, the budget and the number of copies are determined within buymedia.be. The sales process therefore is simply automated, and the delivery of the volume purchased by the client is guaranteed.

By unifying the products they offer and by standardising the buying and sales process, the Belgian publishers are equipped to face the future. This gives them a powerful alternative to the reservation tools used by international players, and, at the same time, enables them to respond to the needs of the local market. Alongside this they are creating a partnership that is attracting considerable interest on the international front.

Bruno Liesse, President of UMA (United Media Agencies):

« We fully support sectorial initiatives such as these that contribute to the development of the digital segment in our local market, particularly as all of the media agencies have invested over recent years in the know-how and skills related to the measurement, buying techniques and remarketing of the various digital channels. »

The buymedia.be platform is now online. The Roularta premium guaranteed products can be bought via buymedia.be since mid-June. This decision allows us to organise the buying process as efficiently as possible by bringing all Belgian publishers together on one single platform, and also allows us to focus on developing buymedia.be in line with the needs of media buyers and of local publishers.
